These days the exam seasons are very close and a  sort of panic and anxiety resides in every students who are facing the school boards as well as their parents. The tension about the exam grades are obvious in every house and the next thing that is adding the panic is about ,'What to study or  do after schools.' But in this article we are solving the next querry that makes every students appearing the schools' boards panic.These days students not only of 10th,11th or 12th but students of every grades are asked about which career they are planning to pursue.But in hurry we name any of them for the time being and close the chapter . And when the time comes at the end periods of schools , we get very worried on which sector to get involved and study to have a better career. So, here are a few tips to guide our students to choose their careeer after schools.

Tips to select career:-

1.Interest/Ability

The very first thing you hear while asking for which career to choose is to go with your interests .And here we say the same as well. Afterall it's your career and subject about your future. So observe your interests and choose a sector where you will enjoy learning and working rather than just being a puppet. For example; if you love teaching then why not to go for educational feild.Do not think that only grades matter ,choose the career which you dream about and if you do not , it's the time to explore about what you enjoiy doing.However talso remember that your interests should also match with your and your family's ability as well. Keep in mind your ability ;whether you can or not to learn and work in the field you desire .

2.Scope Study
In simple terms, scope is whether the career has a better future in the coming time of the market or not .A lot of students follow the bandwagon and start their career while imitating others without knowing the scope of the field. Make sure that your career can make a good future in the field and the feild can sustain and flourish in the changing world and market .While a lot of career may provide good income at present , it may not in the future. So visualize the future of the field in the long run for atleast half of a century. For example the world of television is at the risk as per the professionals due to mobiles and changing technologies . So make a career for the long run.

3.Do not decide under pressure

I have counselled a lot of students who are presurrized by their family to go into a particular sector. Though such things have decreased at present , many parents still do. So dear students , do not take any decisions in hurry,anger or under presssure. Always be cool , and visionary in taking any life decisions . Parents should obviously give guidance but giving pressure is not appropriate.

4.Seek For Guidance
There are many professionals working in any feild. So analyze the struggle and work of majority of professionals working in a feild before selecting your careeer. Also ask them for advice and scope in the feild. Here we are mentioning about professionals but not those who make decisions related to a scope without any experience.So , do not be confused if someone instigates you to choose your career in law or business. Just take the proper guidance from professionals near you who are well experienced in the  field. And obviously , do not forget about the internet for the guidance.

5.Self-analyze

Ok, so as you have now prepared a list of different career choices  which pass the above tests, analyze them all yourself properly and choose the best one for you, your life and your family. However , keep yourself the highest in the priority.Do not make any hurry in this step. take time and go for the best one you choose. So simply self-analyze all the choices in the list which you have made and take a decision after reaching the depth of all of them.It may take 1/2 days but remember to choose the best for you.
