2.Make offline life better


Instead of focusing on reducing your online activities, you can increase your offline life activities. Remember that you have life, friends , neighbors out of your online life as well. It is the most effective way to give of phone addiction whatever may be the reason or cause for it. So try to be more socialized out of mobiles as well and focus on spending time with your family and friends out of mobiles as well. You will be able to give up cell phone addictions without even knowing by this way. You can also play many interesting games to give up your craze on mobile games.

 

3.Be strict with your phone usage


It can be understood that it is not easy to give up phone addiction all at once but you can gradually decrease your time spent with mobile. It may be hard but no one is saying you to reduce your mobile hours by 5 hours . Start with half to one hour a day or a couple days and continue decreasing it every week and one day  the time will arrive when you use your phones only for 2 hours a day , which is the maximum mobile hours for any individual.

 

4.Engage with your hobbies.


If you like doing anything except using mobile phones , then these hobbies can be your tool against mobile addiction . Engage yourself with those hobbies so that you can replace your phones from your hands. Practice doing so at least for  3 weeks and you will realize that you have not only given up phone addiction but also have made good moves in your hobbies.

 

5.Change your phone


The only reason why there was no phone addiction before smartphones was that the feature phones used then did not have so many appealing features . You can also replace your smartphones with feature phones. After all, the ultimate purpose of having phones is to communicate which can be supported with simple feature phones as well. But you do not need to do so for very long . You can again use your glamorous smartphone once you realize that you are free from the addiction.
