How To Give A Good Speech/Presentation?



We all have realized how difficult it is to present a speech or presentation infront of a mass of people . I personally had a lot of problems when I used to be told to present a presentation . So, are you also seeking for the way to give a good speech or presentation. Well! today I am here to share the ways I adopted which you can as well to speak well infornt of  a mass.Read the article carefully and I gurantee that  you will spot changes the next time you step on the stage.

1.Prepare Well
The major reason why we can not perform well on a stage is because we do not prepare well which makes our confident to go down. So firstly ,  make sure about the topic you are going to present and collect all the relevant ,required information to be presented. Listing the points in form of bullets can be the best method to remember all the stuffs. However , do not try parrot learning. I have forgotten the content a lot of times when I stepped infornt if I did parrot learning  and it neither is creative. So get ideas and present it with an original flow.

2.Be Confident 

A lot of people are seen to be very anxious during and before their presentation . The reason in most of the cases is because their competitors perform very well. So, the simple solution is to have strong faith on yourself and be cheerful. Do not let people think that you have not prepare well even if it is so. The best way to be confident and calm is to believe in yourself and say'I can and I will.'Also, consider that you are the boss until you stop which can make you feel comfortable.

3.Gestures and Expressions
Though many people have a lot of stuffs stored in them, they do not get the desired outputs in their speeches. This may be because you lack proper gestures(body movements) and expressions.While giving a speech or presentation, always use proper movement of hands ,eyes and legs. Also try gestures even when you are doing a rehersal. The next thing is expressions. Good expressions help to make you more realistic and trustworthy. So next time do not forget to display suitable expresseions and gestures in your presentation .Also avoid using gestures or expressions too much .It can shift the attention of public from the content to your expressions.

4.Smile and Politeness

There is a popular saying that Politeness costs nothing but earns a lot of things. The same theory applies here. Always be polite with the spectators and start with a morning ,afternoon or evening bade.Be cheerful and polite while addressing your viewers to gain more positive response.
However avoid charming if you are meant to be serious at the context.

5.Questioning

Questioning the mass helps to mainatin good interaction with the viewers and make them feel important which is very essential in a presentaion.So , question them regularly and also answer them with good justification to keep the attention of public with you.
For example:- saying '' Don't you think that the state needs a better government? Yes, it certainly does because.....'' is far better as compared to"I think the states need better government because...."

6.Conclusion
Do not  forget to give a proper conclusin to give a final verdict of  your speaking . It helps to satisfy the spectators with a good reason to trust you. So, do not hurry to end but take your time and give a sweet or interesting conclusion.
                   Lastly, practice and frequent practice is very important to be able to give a goood presentation or speech.Apply them effectively to be a good speaker. I hope you like the suggestions.Thank you!
